Victoria Street

We'd really recommend a meander down Victoria Street.

It winds its picturesque way in a curve down from George IV bridge to the Grassmarket and has lots of lovely shops to browse in on the way. Here are a few . . . .

Iain Mellis Cheese - yummy cheese

Red Door Gallery - quirky prints, jewelery and homeware. A staple for us when we're looking for nice gifts for friends

Walter Slater - posh tweed clothing. I just go in to ogle the lovely fabrics

Bow Bar - an absolutely traditional pub. There's a huge range of whiskey, no music & no screens. I'd thoroughly recommend popping in for a drink.
