It would be a shame to visit Edinburgh without climbing one of its most famous landmarks - Arthur's Seat.
The round walk from our flat is no more than 2 hours. Wear your walking boots as it can get muddy.
The route on the map below takes in Salisbury Crags as well, though there is a quicker more direct route to the top.
As an alternative you could do a slightly longer walk and stop for lunch at the Sheep Heid Inn. I've not been here but it gets rave reviews. A very old pub with a traditional skittle alley, open fires and great food apparently.
